DELAC/ELAC/SSC
The English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) is a committee required by state regulations for any school that has 21 or more English Learners. We are excited to have our multilingual families represented on this committee.
In addition, state regulations require that parents of English Learners constitute at least the same percentage of the ELAC membership as their children represent of the student body. Members of ELAC give advice and feedback to the principal regarding needs of multilingual students and programs.
William Daylor High School will hold EALC meetings in the fall and spring of each year.
We cordially invite you to these important meetings where members we will discuss programs that are in place at our school to help our multilingual students do better in their education.

El Comité Asesor para Estudiantes de Inglés (ELAC) es un comité requerido por las normas estatales para cualquier escuela que cuente con 21 o más estudiantes que están aprendiendo inglés. Nos complace contar con la representación de nuestras familias multilingües en este comité.
Además, las normas estatales exigen que los padres de estudiantes que aprenden inglés constituyan, dentro del ELAC, un porcentaje de miembros al menos igual al porcentaje que sus hijos representan en la población estudiantil total. Los miembros del ELAC ofrecen asesoramiento y comentarios al director sobre las necesidades de los estudiantes multilingües y los programas dirigidos a ellos.
La escuela secundaria William Daylor High School celebrará reuniones del ELAC durante el otoño y la primavera de cada año.
